Limited Tickets AvailableAthens Creative Theatre (ACT) presents The Sugar Bean Sisters, March 24 through 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Quinn Hall at Memorial Park.
In this Southern Gothic comedy of romance, murder and alien abduction, the Nettle sisters are determined to escape spinsterhood—one by going to Salt Lake and finding a good Mormon husband and the other by hopping on the spaceship when the “space people” return. Faye and Willie Mae are returning home to their swamp dwelling in Sugar Bean, Florida, after a disastrous day trip to Disney World. Having witnessed the landing of an alien space craft some 25 years ago in her daddy’s sugarcane field, Faye prepares for the return of her celestial visitors on this night, the very anniversary of that fateful day. Tickets are currently on sale and will be available through the Morton Theatre Box office (ticket outlet only) or by calling 706-613-3771. Tickets will be available on the nights of the performances at Quinn Hall from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and seating is limited. For more information, please call 706-613-3770.
