Conserve Water This Winter

The Athens-Clarke County Stormwater Management Program is hosting a Winter Rain Barrel Sale this month. Pre-order a barrel for yourself, a friend, or a family member. Take it from us; rain barrels make great gifts for the eco-conscious people in your life!

Rain barrel kits are available for purchase for $25.00/kit. Each kit includes a plastic 55-gallon drum and RainRecycle kit from the Rain Barrel Depot. The kit comes with almost everything you need to install the barrel at home, including a FlexiFit down spout diverter. We have a limited number of kits available and ask that barrels are limited to one per person, with a maximum of two per household.

Purchased barrels must be picked up on Thursday, December 16. After you have completed the reservation form, you will receive an email from Stormwater Staff with instructions on when and where to pick-up your barrel on the 16th. Cash or check payments will be accepted upon pick-up.

Have questions? Call 706-613-3440 ext. 6717 or email stormwater@accgov.com.
