COVID-19 Update: Department of Transportation and Public Works Building Back Open to the Public

As of Monday, June 1, the Transportation & Public Works Department at 120 W. Dougherty Street is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through the downstairs entrance. Because of limited space, service will be provided to one person at a time at the doorway, and only staff will be permitted to go past this point.

Permit applications can be submitted via e-mail or dropped off on the table at the door.

To meet with staff, please call for an appointment at 706-613-3440. Some additional Division updates are included below.

TRAFFIC ENGINEERING: For lane closures, please contact Mike Dunbar at mike.dunbar@accgov.com or 762-400-7837.

STREETS & DRAINAGE: To report potholes, drainage issues, or a dead animal in the roadway, call 706-613-3465.

STORMWATER: No in-person payments will be accepted. To make a credit card payment, please continue to use the online service at www.accgov.com/stormwater (there are no additional service fees when paying online). Please contact Billing Staff for questions at stormwater@accgov.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
