The Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will suspend compost, garbage, recycling, and leaf & limb collections on Monday, May 29th, 2023 in recognition of the Memorial Day Holiday. 

If you have residential service & commercial service with us outside of the downtown district your pick up schedule will be as follows: Monday and Tuesday will be collected on Tuesday. Wednesday will be collected on Wednesday. Thursday will be collected on Thursday. Friday will be collected on Friday.  We will resume our normal pickup schedule on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Please make sure your trash and recycling roll-carts are out on the curb by 7:00 AM on your pick up day.

If you have commercial or residential service with us and are located within the Downtown District  your pick up will be on regular schedule.
