Starting in April 2022, regularly scheduled public meetings administered by the Planning Department will return to the in-person format. Participation in the meetings for Planning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, and Hearings Board will be accommodated in the Planning Department Auditorium located at 120 W. Dougherty Street.
Public Meetings will continue to be streamed online for viewing on the Athens-Clarke County YouTube Page, located here: https://www.youtube.com/user/accgov
Opportunities for receiving in-person public comment are provided as part of each meeting’s agenda. If you are unable to attend, written or emailed public comments will be received by the Planning Department. Written comments received prior to Noon on the day prior to the scheduled meeting will be forwarded to the members of the appropriate Commission or Board for consideration prior to the hearing.
