A virtual public meeting regarding the proposed West Downtown Local Historic District Designation has been scheduled for 6 – 8 PM on Monday, October 5th. The meeting will be hosted by the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department on the WebEx Events platform, and the link to join the event is provided here.
The public meeting has been scheduled at the request of the Mayor and Commission to offer an additional engagement opportunity for stakeholders within the study area, as well as for the general public. The event will provide a chance to learn more about the proposed designation, to ask questions, express concerns, and offer input. A recording of the public meeting will be made available after the event for public review. Public comment and responses to this survey will be received by the Planning Department through Friday, October 16th.
