UPDATE: October 11, 2019 - Request for Video Surveillance Footage
ACCPD is asking businesses and homeowners in the South Pope St area to review their surveillance or security video from October 10th. Detectives hope to identify the two individuals seen in the video released today, one of which matches the victim’s description of his assailant.
The 21-year-old victim stated that he was robbed at gunpoint by a slim black male in his 20’s, approximately 6’ 1” tall, wearing dark clothing.

Just after noon today, ACCPD responded to an Armed Robbery call in the 300 block of S. Pope Street near Waddell Street. At the scene, officers spoke with a 21-year-old male who stated he was robbed by a black male with a weapon. The suspect, in his 20’s, was wearing dark clothing, had a slim build, and was approximately 6’ 1” tall.
ACCPD conducted an extensive search of the area but did not locate the suspect.
