Jourdan Joly’s Ice Cream Cones
Featured in the Lobby Case
On view April 20 – June 26, 2021

(ATHENS, GA) The Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce an exhibit by artist Jourdan Joly in the Lobby Case.
Yum! Just perfect for this warmer weather! This spring and summer, the Lobby Case will feature many “flavors” of sculptor Jourdan Joly’s adorable cast resin ice cream cones.

Jourdan is a multi-faceted artist with a BFA from Florida State University and MFA from the University of Georgia. Jourdan is always experimenting, seeking to discover, and push his studio practice further. His sculptures vary in medium and materials but are unified by illusionary and surreal qualities. From complex assemblages to kitsch ice cream towers Joly's work is fun, playful, and will leave you wondering how it's done.

The Lobby Case is an ongoing exhibition space featuring small sculpture by contemporary Georgia artists.  The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours of Tuesday & Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.   Children must be accompanied by an adult.  The exhibition continues through June 26, 2020.
