As part of SPLOST 2011, Project 10, a 17.9 kW solar array will be installed at the Cooperative Extension campus. The project is part of a new property shared with Fire Station #2 and is planned to be finished by late 2019. This installment will supply nearly a quarter of the facility's energy use.
