East and West Patrol Divisions 

The officers in these Divisions patrol Athens-Clarke County and meet the public on a regular basis. These officers wear the uniform of the department and patrol in or out of marked police cars for high visibility. A majority of police reports, traffic citations, and other administrative reports are generated by these divisions. These officers work a 12-hour watch, beginning at 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
