The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will host the annual Holiday Open House at Lyndon House Arts Center on Saturday, December 15 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
The event includes activities for the entire family. The studios will be open for seasonal hands-on projects led by the Lyndon House Arts Center’s Teaching Artists. Projects inspired by the current exhibition, St. EOM of Pasaquan, will include the beading extravaganza makers table in the Atrium Gallery.
Holiday shopping will be available at the Deck the Walls: What’s in Your Bag? featuring works by local artists in pottery, painting, and seasonal crafts. Cookies and Cider will warm your stomach.
The Ladies Garden Club will have the Ware- Lyndon Historic House all decorated in live decor in the spirit of a Victorian Christmas. Docent Tours of the house will happen at Noon, 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
Moreover, certainly do not forget your pictures with Santa! St. Nick will be at the Arts Center from Noon to 2:00 pm. So, have your wishes ready!
