The UGA Office of Sustainability and Facilities Management Division partner with ACC Solid Waste Department to efficiently collect recycling and trash from the university campus; educate students, faculty, staff, and visitors about our waste-reduction methods; and inspire the next generation of leaders to be stewards of our community and natural environment by using less and recycling, composting, and reusing whenever possible.

Gameday Recycling & Trash
Please take pride in our Athens community and the campus of the University by picking up after yourself. Gamedays generate a lot of waste material, but you can do your part by ensuring that you are recycling correctly. Glass bottles, aluminum cans, plastic bottles/containers/cups #1-7 can all be recycled in our tailgating and permanent recycling receptacles. Please, NO FOOD, NO FOAM (styrofoam), and NO FILM (plastic bags) in the recycling.

Also consider bringing reusable wares to your tailgate. Just like scouts and campers, pack in and pack out on game days to help reduce waste!
