Come help us build the first ever sanctioned mountain bike trail in Athens-Clarke County!
SORBA is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting land access, trail preservation,
and new trail development in order to enhance mountain bike touring, racing, fun,
and fellowship for all mountain bicyclists in the southeastern United States.
They meet the second Sunday of each month to work on the trail at Trail Creek Park (formerly East Athens Community Park).
Come join in the fun!

- Removing obstacles on the trail such as
- Roots
- Leaves
- Straw
- Branches
- Removing obstacles on the trail such as
- Tools used will comprise of
- Rakes
- Loppers
- Other trail building tools
- Minimum age of 16 years old
- Close-toed shoes
- Comfortable clothes that can get dirty
