Welcome Summer Volunteer Interns!

Sarah Cowan White is an artist and art educator in Athens. When not teaching high schoolers, she can be found painting or drawing interior scenes and artifacts in her home studio. She also loves music and kitchen dance parties. Sarah has lived in Athens for 7 years, loves walking to local restaurants (particularly Ike & Jane for coffee and donuts).

Nia Nguyen is a UGA student focusing on advertising and studio art.  When not at the Lyndon House, Nia works as a barista at the new Starbucks on Alps.  She is the incoming president for UGA's Asian-American Student Association and in investigating printmaking.

Lyndon House Arts Center is a center of excellence for the benefit and cultural enrichment of youth and adults. The gallery exhibitions, historic house museum, festivals, workshops, art meetings, special events, and art classes aim to provide area citizens with a positive experience in the visual arts, encouraging them to appreciate the arts and to develop their creative talents.
