Youth Art Classes

Hi!  The Lyndon House Arts Center Art Education Department offers a wide variety of youth art classes focusing on various materials and techniques inspired by working practicing artists.  Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 we are holding all our classes virtually.  

Live on-line art instruction with teaching artist Toni Carlucci begins again on January 14, 2021 with Drawing Dragons & an Art Tool Box to accompany the weekly lesson held on WebEx.

VIRTUAL CLASS: Drawing Dragons with Toni Carlucci   LIVE INSTRUCTION via webcam! 7- 10 Yr old

Class description: Dragons are feared, honored and celebrated all over the world. Some are fierce and fire breathing. Others are devoted and protectors of treasures and of people. Now is the time to learn some basics about drawing dragons and use your delightful imagination and creativity to design your own dragon.  

$61 for Athens-Clarke Residents, $79.00 Non-Residents (Art Tool Box fee included)

6 sessions: January 14 - February 18, 2021  Thursdays, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

6 weeks, meeting once weekly, live instruction via webcam! 

  • Includes Art Box with tools/supplies.  All supplies included!
  • Parents/Guardians must pick up tool/supply box from the Arts Center during the week before the virtual class starting Thursday January 7, 2021 Our open hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM-6 PM

The Lyndon House Arts Center offers a variety of art classes for children, ages 4 - 18, in different disciplines. All programs are open to Athens-Clarke County residents and non county residents.

Remember! - Teens ride the Athens-Clarke Transit for free! The closest stops are Health Center and Dougherty/Jackson.
