Love.Craft Athens is a non-profit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. Their mission is to empower this population through the creation of art and music along with finding purposeful opportunities by educating the local community and businesses on how to engage in customized employment for their Crew. They are working to facilitate a future where people with developmental disabilities are encouraged and included in the community around them, and have equal opportunities and resources to achieve their own goals and ambitions. The Lyndon House Arts Center is proud to exhibit artwork by the Crew at Love.Craft.
The Love.Craft exhibitions will include paintings, drawings in the North Gallery, ceramics in the Lobby Case and for a Third Thursday event on June 15 at 6:00 pm, the Love.Craft band will play a selection of favorites.
All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public. Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
